Minnesota vs. Rutgers NCAAF Pick – Week 8

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights welcome the Minnesota Golden Gophers to Get a Big Ten matchup at New Jersey.

Rutgers are searching on their roster, since they hope to avert a listing of 1-6 on Saturday. Their only win over the season came from the UMass Minutemen.
UMass have only one win which came from an Akron squad that is equally dreadful. Rutgers had a different quarterback working the series in Week 1. McLane Carter showed the Scarlet Knights could have a QB to rely on in 2019 and was healthy then.
Nope, Carter never returned to the area and suffered a concussion from Iowa. After announcing his retirement from soccer on 15, Hell never go back. Its a move by Carter who is placing his health before soccer, which wasnt likely to lead to a specialist career.
For three or two matches he showcased potential in Lubbock. Nothing materialized to him and his profession at Rutgers was short lived. He might be the quarterback this season to lead Rutgers to a win, so that is something, I suppose.
Carter beat Artur Sitkowski in school camp out to find the starting job. It didnt last though, as Carter had to leave with this concussion against Iowa. When Sitowski trotted out it had to make Rutgers lovers apologize. Sitkowski was the starter at New Jersey last time and it was, well, intriguing.
Statistically, Sitkowski has been the worst quarterback from the FBS. He retreated a yikes worthy 4 touchdowns and 18 interceptions with just 49.1percent completions. If Rutgers had anybody on the depth chart afterward theyd have went in that direction. Sitkowski had zero competition despite being that terrible, so that he played out the season .
The ball has not turned over nearly as much thus far, but Sitkowski is obviously gun shy. New head coach Nunzio Campanile, who replaced Chris Ash, can be currently trying to keep it easy for Sitkowski. Head under for our free Minnesota vs. Rutgers pick.

Rutgers were intending on running their crime around Raheem Blackshears ground sport. They were going to hammer the ball with Blackshear and branch out from there. But, Rutgers and Blackshear have consented to take a redshirt, not play this season. For that which hopefully is a better Rutgers group in a couple of decades, This gives him a second year of qualification. This is a lost season, so there is no point in getting him hurt from blowouts and potentially burning a year of Blackshear.
Sitkowski has passed for a touchdown and 2 interceptions in three matches this season. His single touchdown pass was from BC in a 30-16 loss. Sitkowski is a true pocket passer. Carter had a bit of mobility and may roll out of their pocket, however, Sitkowski is what you call a statue. There is not anything wrong with that if he can pass the soccer. But he cant, therefore Rutgers is very limited by what they could do with him. Sitkowski does not have the benefit of handing away the ball to Blackshear.
Rutgers might have to navigate beyond a Minnesota defense who have enabled only 311.8 yards per game. They have been strong against the pass in particular, with an average of just 192 passing yards allowed. It is tough to have much faith in Sitkowski doing anything. In his latest outing, Sitkowski handed 106 yards in a blowout from Michigan.
They were on the side of this coin, although Minnesota are coming from a blowout also. The Gophers withdrew the Nebraska Cornhuskers from the water by a score of 34-7. Nebraska are one of the teams in college football this past season, and their year miserable was made by Minnesota week. The run game led by Rodney Smith, whos at the top-10 with 675 rushing yards a game, is going to be a load to handle for Rutgers.
The Golden Gophers are averaging 186.2 metres per game on the floor. It is terrible news for a Rutgers team whove gotten gashed for more than 200 yards rushing a game. Minnesota are likely going to keep the ball and gash Rutgers around the floor, although theyve been better against the pass. This looks like yet another blowout loss for Rutgers, although it might not be as awful as the Michigan game. A 42-7 win to provide them the cover on Saturday at New Jersey.
