Ruiz Jr vs Joshua II: Andy Ruiz Jr has not lost his edge and hunger ahead of rematch, says Shannon Briggs

Shannon Briggs doesn’t think Andy Ruiz Jr has slacked off since becoming world champion, showing that the Mexican remains more hungry than ever before.
Ruiz Jr returned to New York, the spectacle of the gigantic heavyweight mad against Anthony Joshua, on Thursdayas the pair continued their social media tour live on Sky Sports Box Office.

„Together with many fighters, you acquire that name and you celebration, observe, you lose that edge. I watched Ruiz a couple weeks ago and he seemed like a good brick-house, I could not believe how good he lookedhe really looked powerful, I’m impressed.
„It will be a fantastic battle. Can it be Joshua as great as we think that he is or is Ruiz that good? We’ll learn.“
With regards to the battle’The Cannon‘ admits that he was amazed by the result.
„I was surprised but all of us understand on the boxing interior great a fighter Ruiz Jr is,“ he explained.
„I have history with him, I have known him for a few years and have attempted to motivate and encourage him as I do everybody.
„I’m pleased he got a shot and that he took advantage of it.
„I think that perhaps AJ was not in his best, perhaps because it wasn’t the original opponent, he had a great deal of anger (Jarrell) Miller, the border was off, maybe he started slacking in practice .“
